We are searching for a dedicated and passionate service coordinator to join our team. Service coordinators work with families to ensure that children with developmental delays or disabilities have access to the services they need. Responsibilities include: 

• Assessing needs by identifying the child and family's strengths, resources, and needs 
• Developing plans by creating and periodically reviewing individualized family service plan (IFSP) 
• Coordinating services by working closely with other professionals, such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, and medical professionals to ensure services are provided effectively and in a timely manner. 
• Monitoring progress by tracking the child's development
• Advocating by supporting the child's developmental needs and coordinating and negotiating services that are in the child's and family's best interest  
• Educating families about their rights, procedural safeguards, and transition from BabyNet at age 3 or to public school at age 5
• Empowering families by partnering to help them learn to make decisions and coordinate their own care 

If you have experience working with children ages 0-5 and are passionate about early childhood outcomes, you may be a good fit for our team. Pediatric Developmental Services is looking for a part time early interventionist to provide family training and special instruction services to our children and families. Responsibilities include:

• Services: The family trainer/counselor helps families and caregivers (such as child care teachers) understand the child's development and provides training to help the child reach their full potential. Family trainers may provide family training, special instruction, and/or service coordination based on the child's and family's needs.
• Training: The family trainer/counselor provides specific training to help families address areas of delay in their child's development. 
• Environment: Family trainers/counselors provide services in the child's natural environment, such as their home, daycare, the park, library, etc. 
• Plans: Family trainers/counselors provide services as prescribed in the child's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) for children birth to 3 or a Family Service Plan (FSP) for children 3 to 6 years of age. 
• Methods: Family Trainers/counselors use play-based strategies and everyday routines to help children reach their developmental milestones. 
• Documentation:  Family trainers/counselors maintain accurate documentation of assessment results, intervention plans, progress notes, and communication with families and other team members. 

Service Coordinators:  Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field. A completed degree in another area could be considered with 3-5 years experience working with children ages 0-3 or children with special needs ages 0-5. 

Family Trainers:  Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field. A completed degree in another area could be considered with appropriate childcare experience. 

Service Coordinators: $28-$30/hour depending on education and experience plus mileage reimbursement  

Family Trainers: $30-$32/hour depending on education and experience, plus mileage reimbursement
